Hello, my name is Brandon Pierce. I am seventeen years old and I live in Surry, Virginia. This year, I am serving as President of the State 4-H Cabinet. It is my duty to lead the state cabinet in promoting 4-H throughout the state and organizing the Annual 4-H State Congress held on the campus of Virginia Tech. Before becoming president I served as an ambassador to the Southeast District for two years and also, acting Reporter/Historian last year. I started out in 4-H by attending Junior Summer Camp in 1999 at Airfield 4-H Center in Wakefield, Virginia making this my 9th year in 4-H. My 4-H background consists of numerous presentation contests on the local, district, and state level in which I place 1st in all of them. I have also shown hogs, done day camps, 4-H summer camp and joined many 4-H clubs. This past year I was tapped as a Virginia 4-H All-Star at Virginia Tech and this is my 3rd year on cabinet. I ran for cabinet because my agent explained to me about all the wonderful opportunities it would offer. My goal is to make a difference.
