What are Youth In Action Awards?
The Virginia 4-H Youth in Action Awards recognize young people who put their 4-H experiences into action to create positive change. Through leadership, service, and innovation, honorees demonstrate outstanding impact in Agriculture, Civic Engagement, Healthy Living, or STEM.
Youth selected as Virginia 4-H Youth in Action honorees serve as ambassadors for Virginia 4-H and help showcase the power of young people to make a difference. This is more than an award. It is an opportunity to share your story, celebrate your impact, and inspire future generations of Virginia 4-H members.
Registration is now open for 2027 Youth In Action Awards
Applications should be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 20. You will receive a confirmation email when your completed application is received.
Review our guidelines for Youth in Action Awards. You will need to submit the online application form, a video, photos, and a letter of reference from your Extension Agent, or the VCE employee in charge of 4-H programming in your county/city.
