Karrin Cordova is the Family Nutrition Program Area Coordinator for the Northern District, located in the district office in Harrisonburg. Karrin has been involved with Virginia Cooperative Extension since she was a child: first as a 4-H member, then as a VCE summer intern throughout college, as a 4-H adult volunteer leader, and then as the 4-H Extension Agent in the Albemarle/Charlottesville Unit Office starting in 2013. After briefly returning to the classroom, she started as the Family Nutrition Program Area Coordinator for the Northern District in 2019.

Karrin received her bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater College in 2008 in History and Political Science with a minor in Education and her master’s degree from Virginia Tech in Agriculture and Life Sciences with a concentration in Leadership Development in 2017. Karrin has worked with youth, parents, and adult volunteers of all ages to provide hands-on learning opportunities. She enjoys using this background in education and leadership development to collaborate with her colleagues on staff professional development, coaching, and mentoring.
