Virginia's Extension Master Gardeners use demonstration gardens as outdoor classrooms, offering both guided learning opportunities and self-paced exploration. These gardens highlight environmentally responsible gardening techniques across Virginia. Plantings may include annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, and edible crops like fruits and vegetables. Some gardens are designed around specific themes, such as pollinator habitats or container gardening ideas.
