Fertilizer Applicator Certification Training
Fertilizer Applicator Certification Training is a cooperative effort of Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. The training consists of 10 online, self-paced modules, which cover the knowledge areas in which one must be proficient in order to become a Certified Fertilizer Applicator (CFA) in Virginia.
Individuals who successfully complete all 10 modules can download a personalized certificate of completion which can be submitted to VDACS as part of the CFA online application process.
How do I enroll in Fertilizer Applicator Certification Training?
Step 1: Create a campus.eXtension.org account.
Go to http://campus.extension.org and look to the left to find a login box. If you do not have an account, click on Create new account and fill in the information requested. You will receive an email confirming the account creation. Follow the instructions in the email in order to enable the account.
Step 2: Enroll in the course.
Log in and search for the Fertilizer Applicator Certification Training course on http://campus.extension.org. Click on the Enroll me link for full access to the course.
Once you are enrolled, FACT will appear on a list under “My Courses” on the left side of your screen.
