Child Development & Parenting
Getting ready for school means that parents are involved with their children and that they understand the importance of learning. Children should spend their preschool years talking, reading, playing, and exploring. Visiting the library, naming items in grocery store, reading together, minimizing television and computer games, eating well, having a regular bedtime, and being a generally response parent are all ways children become ready for school.
