Newport News Extension Master Gardeners

Spring Plant Sale at Brittingham-Midtown Community Center, 570 McLawhorne Drive, Newport News.  Lots of Native Plugs and Plants, as well as non-native ornamentals, houseplants, vegetable starts and more.  Native tree seedlings will also be available.  Master Gardener Volunteers will be available to answer gardening questions, and to help you to identify ways of incorporating native plants into your current landscaping. Northern Neck Extension Master Gardeners

The Suffolk EMG Plant Sale takes place Saturday, April 25, 2026, 10am – 4pm, at the Earth & Arts Festival, held on the streets of Historic Downtown Suffolk
The plant sale is well known for having a wide variety of well-sized, healthy tomatoes, sweet peppers, and chili peppers. Shoppers also find a variety of house plants, perennials, and trees and shrubs. The help desk and traveling seed library will also be onsite, as will a garden item sale. The Fluvanna Master Gardeners spring plant sale features many deer-resistant and shade plants, including natives, vegetables, annuals, perennials, and herbs. Most plants are from our own yards or grown from seed at home. Master gardeners will be at every table to assist gardeners in obtaining the best plants for their needs. Our help desk will also welcome those with gardening questions. Proceeds go toward our horticulture scholarship and other master gardener community programs. We will be located at the far end of the lot across from Palmyra’s Food Lion. It is the commuter lot by the Turkeysag entrance to Lake Monticello. We take credit cards! Hill City Master Gardeners Festival of Gardening and Annual Plant Sale

The Hill City Master Gardeners will host their annual Festival of Gardening plant sale on Saturday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the lawn at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg.
Over 3,000 plants—started from seed or divided by Master Gardeners—will be available, including tomatoes, vegetables, herbs, native plants, vines and groundcovers, trees and shrubs, perennials, annuals, houseplants, tropicals, and container gardens. Garden décor items will also be for sale.

Charlottesville and Albemarle County

The Piedmont Master Gardeners' 2026 Spring Plant Sale will happen rain or shine at Albemarle Square Shopping Center, 600 Albemarle Square, Charlottesville. We will again offer thousands of annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetables, as well as an assortment of trees and houseplants. Our largest focus is on native plants, including a selection of shrubs. In addition, shoppers can purchase gently used garden implements, yard décor, and other “Green Elephants.” Locally produced compost—Panorama Paydirt—will also be available. Our Master Gardeners will help customers with plant selections and will staff a Help Desk for addressing plant questions. Display booths and information tables will provide research-based educational resources on a variety of topics, such as conservation landscaping, soil health, composting, pest management, and controlling invasive plants. Western Tidewater Master Gardeners, Carrollton

Western Tidewater Master Gardener Spring Plant Sale, May 2rd, 9:00 am – 1:00pm at the Blackwater Regional Library, 14362 New Town Haven Lane, Carrollton,VA. Will be held Rain or Shine! Our Spring plant sale will offer a variety of plants from our local volunteers and gardeners. We will have a variety of annuals, perennials, native plants, house plants, shrubs and trees for sale.

The York/Poquoson Master Gardeners Spring Plant Sale will be held Saturday May 2, 2026 at the York Learning Garden, 301 Goodwin Neck Road in Yorktown. A wide variety of plants will be for sale at very low prices, including native and non-native perennials, groundcovers, vegetable seedlings, berry vines, grasses, shrubs and trees. A limited number of Yorktown Onions will be available for sale to customers who come early. Gently used garden tools and decorations will also be available for sale. John Clayton Chapter, VNPS, Williamsburg Plant Sale

Join us for our Annual Native Plant Sale supported by many Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists. Looking for Virginia native plants, not cultivars? This is the place to go. On Saturday, May 2, 9:30 am-2 pm, the Community Building at 401 N. Boundary St. will host the plant sale organized by the John Clayton Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society. The native plant sale is also a great place to learn about plants native to our area and talk to people who know a lot about them. Not sure if native plants are right for your garden? You should come anyway. More people and organizations are choosing native plants for gardens, parks, and landscapes and for a good reason: once established, they help conserve resources, needing less water and almost no fertilizer, help minimize erosion, and support wildlife, especially native pollinators. Prince William Extension Master Gardeners Plant Sale

May 9, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Spring is almost here and that can only mean that our Spring Plant Sale is around the corner as well.  The location is at our Teaching Garden at the St Benedict Monastery at 9535 Linton Hall Rd Bristow VA. As you drive onto the Monastery grounds, you will see signs as you near the Linton Hall School on the left.  This left is also for overflow parking for our Saturday in the Garden Program and the Plant Sale.  Please know that the parking lot nearest the Teaching Garden only holds 15 cars. It is best to park on the Linton Hall Playground. Master Gardeners will help you get to your car after your purchase.

Henrico County Plant Sale

Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
Henrico County Master Gardeners will hold their annual Pollinator Festival and Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The location is the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center at 1440 North Laburnum Ave. The plant sale features several thousand potted plants, many of which are grown by Master Gardeners, as well as floral arrangements and gently used garden items.  Plants and other items are sold at discount prices. The festival will include educational and pollinator displays by Master Gardeners as well as information and demonstrations from environmental organizations and state agencies.
