Learning and Organizational Development

Vision

Learning and Organizational Development increases VCE’s capacity to advance the wellbeing of all Virginians by ensuring our faculty, staff, and volunteers have the skills, tools, and resources to deliver high quality, needs driven, research-based Extension educational programs.

Purpose

The LOD unit focuses on three areas of Extension work:

  1. Extension program development and evaluation
  2. Professional Development and Training ensuring agents have access to needs-specific professional development to support their communities. This includes internally focused onboarding and staff development and externally focused professional development and coursework/learning modules.
  3. Data integration including data analysis and extraction, data dashboards and data visualizations
