Directions to Southeast District Office

Arriving by I-95 South from Richmond, Washington, DC. etc.

Take the VA-35/US-301exit, EXIT 41, toward Courtland/VA-156. Stay on VA-35 for 32.8 miles, continue STRAIGHT to go onto Main St/US-58 Bus E.  At roundabout take 1st exit onto Old Bridge Road; next roundabout take 1st Exit.  Continue to follow US-58-E additional 17.2 miles-Tidewater AREC will be on the right.

Arriving by I-64 from Norfolk (East)  

Merge onto I-664 S via EXIT 264 toward Newport News/Downtown/Suffolk/Chesapeake.  Contine 18.68 miles then merge onto US-58 W via EXIT 13A toward US-13 S/Suffolk.  Continue 22.77 miles then slight right onto Holland Rd/US-58 Bus W.  Take 1st left onto Holland Rd/US-58 Bus E.  Continue to follow Holland Rd for .33 miles-Tidewater AREC will be on the right

Arriving by I-64 from Charlottesville (West)

Merge onto I-95 South.  Continue 34.75 miles to the VA-35/US-301 exit, EXIT 41, toward Courtland/VA-156.  Stay on VA-35 for 32.8 miles, continue STRAIGHT to go onto Main st/US-58-Bus E.  At roundabout take 1st exit onto Old Bridge Road; next roundabout take 1st Exit.  Continue to follow US-58-E additional 17.2 miles-Tidewater AREC will be on the right.

Arriving by  I-95 North from North Carolina

Follow I-95 North to US-58 E via Exit 11A toward Norfolk/Va Beach.  Continue 46.68 miles Tidewater AREC will be on the right.  

Directions to VT/UVA Richmond Center

From Charlottesville (West)

Take I-64 east. Take Exit 181(Parham Road) and turn left at the top of the ramp onto Parham Road North. After turning on to Parham Road North remain the left lane for .3 miles and merge into the left turning lane. Turn left at the stoplight onto Mayland Drive. Turn right on to Operations Center Drive (3rd entrance on the right). Proceed to the building straight ahead. Use the main entrance to enter the building.

From Downtown Richmond

Take the RMA (I-195) to Interstate 64 West. Exit I-64 via ramp at Exit 181B Parham Road North. This will be the first Parham Road exit. Immediately merge into the far left turning lane. Turn left at stoplight on to Mayland Drive. Turn right on to Operations Center Drive (3rd entrance on the right). Proceed to the building straight ahead. Use the main entrance to enter the building. During peak rush hours, you may not be able to immediately merge into the left turning lane once you leave the Interstate. If this occurs, proceed .7 miles to Skipwith Road where you will be able to make a U-Turn. Proceed south on Parham approximately .6 miles to Mayland Drive. Turn right on Mayland Drive. Proceed to the building straight ahead. Use the main entrance to enter the building. You may also enter the parking lot from Parham Road. Immediately after passing Tucker High School on the right, there will be an entrance. Turn into that entrance and go around the building and parking deck to the Operations Center Drive entrance.

From Petersburg (South)

Take I-95 north to I-64 west, Exit number 79. Travel 5.4 miles and take Exit 181B Parham Road North. This will be the first Parham Road exit. Immediately merge over to the left turning lane. Turn left at the stoplight onto Mayland Dr. Turn right on to Operations Center Drive (3rd entrance on the right). Proceed to the building straight ahead. Use the main entrance to enter the building. During peak rush hours, you may not be able to immediately merge into the left turning lane once you leave the Interstate. If this occurs, proceed .7 miles to Skipwith Road where you will be able to make a U-Turn. Proceed south on Parham approximately .6 miles to Mayland Drive. Turn right on Mayland Drive. From Washington (North)

Take I-95 south to exit 84B, connecting with 295 North. Continue on 295 North for 10 miles to exit 53 merging onto I-64 East. Take I-64 East for 3.2 miles to exit 181- Parham Road. Turn left at the top of the ramp on to Parham Road North. After turning on to Parham Road North remain the left lane for .3 miles and merge into the left turning lane. Turn left at the stoplight onto Mayland Drive. Turn right on to Operations Center Drive (3rd entrance on the right). Proceed to the building straight ahead. Use the main entrance to enter the building.

From the Airport (East)
