Block and Bridle Educational Contests/Clinics

• Hippology Contest - February 6th, 2026
  • Check in for All Divisions - 1:00 PM
• Horse Judging Contest - February 7th, 2026
  • Check in for All Divisions - 8 - 8:45 AM
  • Regular Contestants will be released to coaches prior to lunch. 

• Eligibility
  •  ALL Divisions will be determined and broken on Date of Birth
    •  Junior Contestants: Ages 9 - 13 as of 01/01/2026, including 4-H youth who reach their 9th birthday by September 30, 2026
    • Senior Contestants: Ages 14 to 18 as of 01/01/2026.
  • Contestants must be enrolled in the chapter or unit they represent
  • No contestnat can have had their 19th birthday prior to 1/1/2026
  • Youth must compete in the Division their birthdate sorts them into for the 2026 event.
  • A team consists of 3 or 4 members from the same chapter or unit. Top three scores in each division will be calculated for team totals. 
• Entry Fees
  • Hippology - $12.00/contestant entered
  • Horse Judging 
    • Advanced - $15.00/contestant entered
    • Regular - $12.00/contestant entered
  • DO NOT send payment with entry. Payment should be brought, based on the number entered, to contest check in.
