Southern Regionals

July 31st - August 4, 2024

Location: Perry, GA

70 horse/rider combinations allowed
Final deadline for scratching and refunds is July 1. No refunds of entry fees or pre-application fee after July 1.
If more than 70 valid pre-applications are received, riders will be ranked based on performance at the previous year's State 4-H Horse Show
confirmation of acceptance and/or waitlist will be sent via email.
it is the RIDER that qualifies for Southern Regionals at the State Show. Rider may show a different horse than what was shown at State, HOWEVER that horse must be declared and Qualified in the year of the Southern Regionals show.
two horses are allowed per exhibitor (2nd horse allowed if space available)
Juniors and Seniors compete together as do horses and ponies
pony jumping classes are adjusted for height
you are responsible for booking your own hotel
youth/horse combos can enter only 1 showmanship and 1 conformation class
may enter as many of the under-saddle classes as the horse can perform, but this not the show to be trying new classes
you will be representing Virginia’s very best!
