General Information

  • Youth Cattle Working Contest Rules and Guidelines
    • Rule Clarification on page 2:
      • The weights on the cattle will have to be estimated prior to calculating the proper dosage. There will be a 1 point deduction per 100 lbs if the improper weight is estimated. The proper weight will be given prior to actual administration of product.
  • Registration is $20 per team.
  • Entry deadline is  for all regional contests is March 15th!
    • Please remember all youth must be BQA certified prior to entry.

  • TBA - Southern Piedmont Regional Cattle Working Contest, Southern Piedmont AREC, Blackstone - Limited to first 15 teams enrolled
  • TBA - Southwest Virginia Regional Cattle Working Contest, Copenhaver Farm, Meadowview - Limited to first 15 teams enrolled
  • TBA - Central Virginia Regional Cattle Working Contest, Tucker Livestock Market, Radiant - Limited to first 15 teams enrolled
  • TBA - Shenandoah Valley Regional Cattle Working Contest, Waynesboro Nursery, Waynesboro - Limited to first 15 teams enrolled
